Mrs Thomson
Nominated Supervisor - Director and Early Childhood Teacher
Admin - Monday Thursday and Friday. Teaching days: Wednesday
Mrs Thomson was born in the UK, however grew up in Australia for most of her life. She has worked within the early childhood industry for over 15 years across a variety of services and positions starting her journey as a trainee at the age of 18. She holds a Bachelor in Early Childhood and Primary Education and has experienced a variety of roles and responsibilities as a mother of 2, teacher and director. Jessica has a strong passion for community preschools and the learning and development that is involved within this age group. With experience in both early childhood and primary education, this has allowed her to consider the needs and aspects involved and adapt these to the learning environment holistically.
As the director and teacher, she aim to support our families, our educators and children to fulfil each child’s needs to the greatest of their abilities, so they can transition to school as confident and successful learners.
Mrs Hutchinson
Early Childhood Teacher / Responsive Person
Teaching Days: Monday, Tuesday and Friday
Mrs Hutchinson has grown up enjoying the leafy bush suburbs of Sydney and continues to raise her own family here. She completed her Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood at Macquarie University and has worked in a variety of different early childhood services as an early childhood teacher for more than 15 years. She believes in strong connections with children and communities, building a sense of belonging for all so that children can grow and develop in a wholistic way. She loves being present in the moment and fostering a love of learning through play. She enjoys teaching this special age and fostering a lifelong love of learning and school.

Born in the UK, Mrs Wood has also lived & worked in South Africa and Malaysia before finally finding home in Hornsby shire, where she has lived with her family for the last 20 years. A doting mother of 2 not so little boys, Mrs Wood is a familiar face at our preschool, and has been teaching and caring for the children of our Preschool for over 13 years. Her passion for educating stems from being able to laugh and have fun with the children everyday & listening to what they think about their world.
Assistant Educator

Born in the UK, Mrs Wood has also lived & worked in South Africa and Malaysia before finally finding home in Hornsby shire, where she has lived with her family for the last 20 years. Teaching Days: Thursday - Friday & alternate Wednesday's
Mrs Hoek was born and raised in the Netherlands. A busy mother of 4 not so little children, Mrs Hoek has always been incredibly passionate about children and their educational development. Her return to the workforce after years in her important role as Mum, meant that a return to education was necessary, and Mrs Hoek returned to study to earn her Diploma in Children's services. The Preschool were lucky enough to welcome Mrs Hoek to our team whilst she completed her practical work experience, and she was so wonderful we didn't let her leave. She has now been a dedicated member of the preschool for over 10 years.
Mrs Eldridge
Assistant Educator
Days - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
Mrs Eldridge was born in Tasmania but has spent most of her life in the Normanhurst area. She has a BA in Geopolitics and completed her Cert111 in Early Childhood after sending her own daughter to NWCPS and falling love with the idea of community Preschool. Mrs Eldridge is a keen environmentalist and loves exploring outside in the garden with the children looking at all the plants and animals. She believes that fuelling a child's curiosity and imagination in these early years is one of the best ways to foster a life-long joy of learning. She also enjoys a good cup of tea - and being very silly!
